NIGC Gas Processing Up 5bcm

TEHRAN Nov 19 (Shana)--National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) processed nearly 90 bcm of gas during the first seven months of the current calendar year which started in March, up 5 bcm year-on-year.

NIGC deputy head for operations said the processed gas has been fed into national gas trunklines.

Abdol-Hossein Samari said more than 14.5 bcm of gas condensate was also produced during the same period, showing a 13 bcm increase compared with last year.

Meanwhile, 517,000 tons of sulfur was produced by refineries in South Pars, Khangiran and Ilam during the same period.

The seven-month period also saw 971,000 tons of LPG and 859,000 tons of ethane be produced.
