Arsanjan Station Boosts Gas Transfer Capacity by 40mcm/d

TEHRAN Nov 19 (Shana)--Launching Arsanjan gas pressure station raised gas transfer capacity of IGAT-4 and IGAT-8 by 40 million cubic meters per day.

Manager of gas transfer district-5, Saeed Tavakolli told Shana that the station not only will boost gas transfer capacity but will reinforce sustainability of gas flow in the network.

 “Arsanjan gas pressure station included four turbo compressors, of which two compressors have already become operational and the third and fourth ones were launched recently."  

IGAT-4 and IGAT-8 respectively with 1145 and 1050km length and 56 inches in diameter include 10 boosting gas pressure stations along their lines.

Each pipeline also has the capacity of transfering 110 million cubic meters of gas per day.
