IGAT-8 Booster Stations to Get $100m

TEHRAN Nov 24 (Shana)--The private sector is to invest $100 million in financing five pressure booster stations at Iran Gas Trunkline-8 (IGAT-8), a top official at National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said.

Asghar Soheilipour said a total of 10 pressure booster stations are planned to be constructed for this pipeline.

“The contract for the equipment supply to five pressure booster stations for IGAT has been signed with the private sector,” he said.

He added that a foreign company has agreed to provide equipment to IGAT-8.

IGAT-8 originates in east of Assaluyeh and passes by Parsian Refinery in Fars Province onto Isfahan Province and then to Qom Province.
