The memorandum was signed between NIDC deputy head Mohammad-Reza Takayedi and a vice-chancellor of the Austrian university.
“This memorandum has been signed for scientific and educative exchanges with a view to acquiring modern drilling technologies to boost efficiency and accelerating drilling and enhancing recovery in oil and gas projects,” Takayedi said.
He added that the memorandum entails short-term and long-term training courses for drilling managers and experts.
The memorandum, signed for four years, is subject to renewable.
