Oil Products, Gas Condensate Revenues Up

TEHRAN Nov 25 (Shana)--Oil products and gas condensate export revenues rose by 63 percent during the first six months of current Iranian calendar year which began March 21 2014, against corresponding period last year.

The latest data released by Central Bank of Iran (CBI) also show that the government deficit decreased by more than 17 percent over the mentioned period shrinking from 50.2 trillion rials last year to 4.3 trillion rials over the corresponding first six months of current year.

Lowering deficit occurs in a time when the figures show that current and development expenditures of the government have grown respectively by 33.1 and 210 percent.  

The government also has spent more than 9.391 billion rials in the form of the two percent share of deprived areas of the country from total oil revenues, up by 181 percent against similar period last year.
