Gov’t to Set Budget on $70 Oil

TEHRAN Dec 02 (Shana)--The Iranian government is to draft its annual budget bill for next fiscal year (starting in March) based on $70 oil price, the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce said.

“The oil sold [now] will show its impacts on the budget three months later. Therefore, the government is not worried over the impact of oil price fall on the [current year] budget. And for next year, the government has reduced oil price to $70 in the budget,” Yahya Al-e Es’haq said.

He said that “the government is not concerned with the oil price conditions.”
