NIGC Gas Processing Up

TEHRAN Dec 06 (Shana)--National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has processed nearly 104 bcm of gas during the first eight months of the current calendar year which started on March 21, up 11 bcm year-on-year.

The processed gas has been fed into national trunklines, Abdol-Hossein Samari, a deputy head of NIGC said.

He said Iran also produced more than 16.7 bcm of gas condensate, up from last year’s 15.573 bcm during the same eight-month period.

During the same time span, Iran’s sulfur production has been 639,000 tons, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production has reached 1.18 billion tons and ethane production stood at 970,000 tons.
