Mohammad-Baqer Nobakht said the budget would also let the country increase its oil production by 90,000 barrels.
“Boosting crude oil production capacity next [calendar] year is a central theme of the government,” he said.
“Iran is currently able to export 2 mb/d of crude oil, while we are exporting 1 mb/d. Therefore, the government is making the necessary preparations in next year’s budget...to be able to enhance exports with the imminent lifting of sanctions,” he added.
Nobakht said next year’s budget depends on oil revenues for one-third.
