Persian Gulf Holding Exports Hit $9b

TEHRAN Dec 24 (Shana)--Persian Gulf Holding Company’s annual exports have reached 8-9 billion dollars, the company’s managing-director said.

Adel Salim-Nejad said Persian Gulf Holding was ranked the second largest producer of petrochemicals after Saudi Arabia’s SABIC in the Middle East last year.

He said Persian Gulf Holding produced at 68% of its nominal capacity last year, adding that the percentage has reached 77% this year.  

Persian Gulf Holding, comprised of dozens of major petrochemical companies, holds 11% of Iran’s stock market.
