Gas Transfer Capacity to Rise

TEHRAN Dec 24 (Shana)--Gas transfer capacity of IGAT-4 and IGAT_8 will rise by 75 million cubic meters per day concurrent with launching Khairgou gas pressure stations, whose installation is underway, in the near future.

Director of district 10 of gas transfer operations Hamid Khederi made the remarks in an interview with Shana, adding the facilities would raise gas transfer capacity simultaneously in IGAT-4 and IGAT_8.

Khairgou said gas pressure stations lie where the length of IGAT-4 and IGAT-8 reaches 84 kilometers.

NIGC’s managing director visited the facilities on Tuesday to become familiar with the latest progresses in executive operations.

Khederi said the installation will contribute to sustainable transit of gas, adding necessary initiatives have been taken for launching facilities on schedule.
