Laleh Petchem Co. Produces More than Expected

TEHRAN Dec 30 (Shana)--The production capacity of Laleh Petrochemical Plant is hitting 115% of its rated capacity, the managing-director of the plant said.

Masoud Yasini said the company produced 301,000 tons of petrochemicals in the last calendar year which ended in March.

This petrochemical plant mainly produces low-density polyethylene which is exported to India, Algeria, China, Africa, Greece, Turkey, Germany and north Europe.

The petrochemical plant is fed by 306,000 tons of olefin supplied by Maroun plant.
