The statement denied certain media outlets quoting Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh as predicting that the prices will slide to below 25 dollars per barrel.
"He (Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh) has not predicted or voiced any predictions about the oil prices," read the statement.
