Speaking to Shana, Khederi further noted that the facility delivers gas from Parsian and South Pars gas refineries to northern areas of the country through IGAT-4 and IGAT-8.
According to the official, launching Khairgou facility has contributed to not only boosting gas transfer capacity but sustainability in gas flow through IGAT-4 and IGAT-8.
Khairgou gas pressure station lies in Lamard town, 84 km away from where IGAT-4 and IGAT-8 start.
Earlier managing director of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) Alireza Gharibi said that 10 gas pressure stations would come online next Iranian calendar year to March 20 2016.
Meanwhile stability at gas grid will rise further this year by launching other boosting pressure stations including Pataveh, Polkaleh, Dehagh and Dasth.
