In statements to Shana, he said the three stations are part of 10 gas pressure boosting stations scheduled to be installed along IGAT-8 in order to boost gas flow stability in the gas pipeline.
He noted that the contracts related to procurement of equipment for five gas pressure stations have been already singed with a European company, adding several other companies have expressed their readiness for investment in construction of three other gas pressure stations of IGAT-8.
“100 million dollars have been invested in construction of five gas pressure stations across IGAT-8”, NIGC official told Shana.
Spanning 10.50 km, IGAT-8 will transfer 110 mcm/d of gas. The pipeline originates from Assaluyeh, onshore installations of South Pars gas field, crossing Parsian, Naeen and Tehran before reaching northern part of the country.
