“Under circumstances where the country is importing gasoline, the significance of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery stands very high because it produces gasoline, gasoil and jet fuel at very high quality,” Es’haq Jahangiri said.
He described the refinery as “one of the most important projects in the oil and gas sectors.”
Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh has said that the refinery needs finance to be completed.
