Leader Visits Nano-Technology Exhibit

TEHRAN Feb 01(Shana)--Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei visited Nano-technology exhibition on Saturday.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the scientific and research arena should stay away from political drives and motivations, while deeming the progress in this field as a great sample for other sections. 

Vice President of Science and Technology Sourena Sattari was was also accompanying the Supreme Leader in this visit.

The exhibition presents the latest achievements of Iranian nano researchers in fields like nano-materials, pharmacy, agriculture, oil, water, energy, power plants, and automobiles.

Ayatollah Khamenei, while commending the success and progress of scholars and researchers in the field of nano-technology, called the advances as indicators of an expert and concentrated group, which would lead to further progress.

The Leader described precise planning, stable management, and talent identification as the progress-preserving factors and underlined the necessity of preventing political drives penetrate scientific arenas as another important factor.

The Leader also urged researchers to avoid vanity and satisfaction to keep their progress pace.

He also advised researchers to direct their knowledge toward marketing and wealth-producing in order to make their science applicable to daily lives of ordinary people.

Ayatollah Khamenei also asked the Deputy to pay attention to the budget of this scientific field to improve its position and help its enhancement.
