“The NITC will take legal action to prove the illegality of the re-imposition of sanctions on this company and will follow up on damages incurred by sanctions with international bodies,” Ali Akbar Safaei, managing-director of NITC, said.
He said that the Western governments have in fact deprived the international marine transportation industry of a “huge, modern and standard capacity” by sanctioning the Iranian company.
“The NITC has always submitted legally solid evidence to international bodies to prove its rightfulness and the political nature of the sanctions imposed by the Western governments. It will continue this way for proving its rightfulness again,” said Safaei.
