Speaking to Shana, Mehrdadfar further noted that around 1.021 bcm of gas has been withdrawn from the facility over the past five months.
He continued as much as 10 mcm of gas per day will be injected to Sarajeh gas storage facility as of next week.
Gas injection to the facility hit 1.24 bcm during the previous Iranian calendar year to March 21 2015 up by 35 percent against the preceding year.
Serajeh gas storage facility, located 40 km away from Qom city and 140 km south of Tehran, is able to store 1.5 bcm of gas but its storage capacity will reach 3.3 bcm after completion of its second phase development.
