Director of District 6, Ali Safaralizadeh, made the remarks in an interview with Shana, adding out of 8.9 bcm gas volume, 2 bcm have been delivered to household sector and around 7 bcm to industrial sector.
Safaralizadeh further said during the last year Gas Transfer District 8 used pigs to clean around 1.000 km of pipelines and replaced coating of more than 12 thousand meters of the pipelines as well.
“Detecting possible leakage that carried out across 2.355 km of pipelines and replacing 308 meters of the pipelines with new ones were the other tasks District 8 carried out last year”, he said.
District 6 is the largest gas transfer district of the country covering 433.5 km of the country, or 26 percent of Iran’s territory. The country has been divided to 10 Gas Transfer District.
