Zangeneh to Attend Munich Energy Security Conference

TEHRAN May 06(Shana)--Iran’s minister of petroleum is leaving for Munich Wednesday night to attend an energy security conference.

Bijan Zangeneh is being accompanied by his deputy for international affairs and trading Amir-Hossein Zamaninia.

The minister said Germany is Iran’s top trading partner in downstream oil industries, equipment, refinery and turbine construction. He added that Siemens is one of Iran’s partners for the development of the massive offshore South Pars gas field.

During his stay in Germany, Zangeneh is expected to meet with some senior German officials and companies’ CEOs.
