“The countries producing oil should open space in the market for Iran to increase its oil exports,” Bijan Zangeneh told reporters on the sidelines of Tehran Oil and Gas Show.
“The world oil market is an integrated one and therefore all producers should consider Iran’s oil entry into the market because 60% of Iran’s oil exports was dropped off the market due to unjust sanctions,” he said.
Zangeneh also said that India still owes Iran $7 billion for oil purchase. “After the lifting of the sanctions, this debt would be paid back in euros and rupees.”
And regarding a reported planned trip by a US oil delegation to Iran, the minister said: “I neither deny nor confirm it, I don’t know anything.”
