Offshore Progress in Phase 14

TEHRAN May 17(Shana)--The offshore section of Phase 14 of South Pars gas field has reached 60% after the installation of the fourth jacket, director of the project said.

Majid Shamlou said the project is being operated by Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC).

He said that the development of Phase 14 of South Pars requires four 1,800-ton jackets.

Phase 14 is under development for the production of 56.5 mcm/d of sour gas, 75,000 b/d of gas condensate, one million tons a year of liquefied gas, one million tons a year of ethane and 400 tons a day of sulfur.

A consortium of Iran’s Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO), National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC), Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex Co (ISOICO) and IOEC are in charge of Phase 14.
