Seyyed Naser Sajjadi said currently 18 million liters of euro-4 gasoline and 10 million liters of eruo-4 gasoil are being distributed in mega cities of the country on a daily basis.
Completion of Persian Gulf Star refining project will be followed by a revolution in providing eruo-4 oil products, he said. The refinery is expected to be launched before the end of current Iranian calendar year to March 2016.
According to Sajjadi, distribution of eruo-4 gasoline has started since a year and a half ago and expanding it to Shiraz and Ahvaz cities will realize the company’s targets of distributing the product in 8 mega cities of the country.
Elsewhere in his remarks he said that daily gasoline consumption stood at 69.6 liters per day last year, up by 1.7 percent against a year earlier.
Over the first 45 days of current Iranian calendar year, daily gasoline consumption edged up by less than one percent, he said estimating gasoline consumption will not rise considerably this year.
