Managing director of Qazvin Province’s gas company Fathali Najafi made the remarks adding last year more than 1.337 billion cubic meters of gas were delivered to the power plant, up by 25 percent against a year earlier.
He added this volume of gas delivery replaced fuel oil and made a great contribution to lowering air pollution and protecting environment in the province.
He said: "The company carries out around-the-clock monitoring to ensure sustainability of gas delivery to the power plant."
