Visiting towns located west of Tehran metropolitan, Rouhani said strong presence of people has helped the government to take great steps towards ending economic recession and boosting welfare, adding today markets and economy are stable and this means that economic recovery is underway with tangible results in oil, gas, mines, agriculture and services.
"Despite financial bottlenecks and falling oil prices we will continue our way for achieving progress and prosperity with the support from people," the president said adding “I am certain we will achieve our targets by reliance on faith and unity in the society”.
He said: "Majority of the people have opted to support the path of peace, reconciliation and constructive interaction with the world and we will push forward to achieve our defined goals by reliance on the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s guidelines and people’s support."
Elsewhere in his remarks he said 20 projects are underway with 6.420 billion IR rials investment in Shahriar town, adding a number of them will bear fruit this year and the remainder including construction of industrial towns in Melard, Safadasht and Shahriar will come online next year.
