SPGC Butane Output 132% Up

TEHRAN May 27(Shana)--The butane output of the South Pars Gas Complex rose by 132% last calendar year which ended March 20 in comparison with the previous year, the SPGC managing director said.

Masoud Hassani said the complex's propylene output was also 70% higher than the previous year which ended March 20 2014 and hit 107 billion cubic meters. 

The SPGC produces 350 million cubic meters of sweet gas on a daily basis which is expected to more than double by March 2017, said Hassani. 

Currently, the gas output by SPGC equals 2.243 million oil barrels which is expected to double by 2017, he added.
