Abdorrahim Shamsoddini said the facility would be built with a $55 million investment.
“By virtue of policies promulgated by the Ministry of Petroleum with regard to the renovation of oil refineries in the country, Shiraz refinery plans to produce high-quality gasoline and gasoil,” he said.
Shamsoddini said the isomerization plant would have a capacity of 6,500 b/d, adding that the project is forecast to be over in three years.
Iran is focusing on the production of euro-4 gasoline in order to curb growing air pollution in big cities.
