Iran Q1 Petchem, Condensate Exports at $6b

TEHRAN June 27(Shana)--Iran earned over $6.2 b from exporting petrochemicals and gas condensates during the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year which started March 2015.

According to Iran's customs data, the country exported 6,195 tons of gas condensate worth 2.6 billion dollars to foreign destinations during the period which made up 24.2% of its non-oil exports. 

Moreover, 24.2% of Iran's non-oil exports were petrochemicals which amounted to 6.263 million tons being worth 3.6 billion dollars. 

The country also exported 576 million dollars of hydrocarbon gases during the same period. It also sold 383 million dollars of propane which made up 4.65% of its non-oil exports. 

The bitumen exports fetched Iran 363 million dollars, 4.4% of the country's non-oil exports.
