80,000b/d Eyed at Reshadat Oilfield Development

TEHRAN August 5(Shana)--Development project of Reshadat oil field is 78.2% complete, and, once completed, the field will add 80,000b/d to the country's crude oil output, operator of the project said.

Sarab Azad said generators and compressors of the offshore field's platform will be imported for development of the offshore field. 

He said Reshadat will start early production once its downhole pumps are repaired, adding five new wells at the field are fully spudded and are ready for operation.

Discovered in 1965, Reshadat was initially developed by the Italian company Iminico.
