Following a meeting with the visiting CEO of the Russian firm, Nikolai Brunic, he said Zarubej Neft is going to send a delegation to carry out a field study on Ilam’s oil and gas capacities.
Both sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in construction of oil and gas refineries and petrochemical plants, he added.
Last summer, the Iranian province and the Russian company signed an MoU to develop bilateral relations.
The Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Russia will convene in near future with the promotion of ties in oil and gas industries on the top of its agenda.
