World Ticking Days Off to Invest in Iran Oil Industry: Indian Merchant

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (Shana) – A member of the Iran-India Chamber of Commerce said on Saturday that the whole world is looking for introduction of investment opportunities in Iran’s oil industry.

“Not only India but the world want to see opening of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) so that they can invest in Iran,” Parvinder Singh Chandhok told Shana on the sidelines of the Iran Petroleum Contracts Conference.

The Indian businessman also welcomed convention of the IPC in which details of Iran’s new oil and gas contracts will be introduced.

The IPC conference is embraced by 137 foreign firms including oil giants longing for participation in Iran’s oil industry in the post-sanction era.

A follow-up conference will be held in London on February 22-24 after the IPC event in Tehran.
