Polish Energy Firm Eyes Investment in Post-Sanctions Iran

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (Shana) – Director of Exploration at Polish firm Orlen Upstream said the company is ready for investment in Iran’s oil industry in the post-sanctions era.

Talking to Shana on the sidelines of the Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) Conference here on Saturday, Jaroslav Zakharsky said Orlen is looking for new offers from Iranian side.

Saying that the firm is active in both upstream and downstream oil projects, he added that the Tehran conference is an opportunity to negotiate bilateral business.

The IPC conference is participated by 137 foreign firms including oil giants longing for participation in Iran’s oil industry in the post-sanction era.

A follow-up conference will be held in London on February 22-24 after the IPC event in Tehran.
