Iran Overcame Challenges Despite Enemy Machinations: Zangeneh

TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (Shana) – Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said that Iran has managed to surpass the opposition of its enemies during a difficult phase but there are still machinations at the regional level.

“We hope that the country will enter a new phase of development so that the welfare of our nation and our young people will be upgraded,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the nation-wide rallies here on Thursday to mark victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

“This year, there is fortunately an eye-catching participation of the people which I think is partly because of the success of Iranian nation in the nuclear issues,” he added.

When asked on future crude oil prices following implementation of the nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the minister declined to comment.

“I can’t speculate over oil prices,” he replied.
