Iran’s Euro-4 Gasoline Production to Hit 35 m/l by mid 2016

TEHRAN, March 2 (Shana) – Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said that production of the country’s Euro-4 gasoline will increase to 35 million liters a day to include half of the output.

Abbas Kazemi told Shana on the sidelines of the International Environment Exhibition on Wednesday that NIORC is committed to produce environment-friendly products.

“Currently, we produce 24 million liters of Euro-4 gasoline a day which is about 40 percent of the output. We hope to increase it to 29 million liters in coming months and to 35 million liters by summer after launching the Bandar Abbas refinery,” he added.

The post-sanctions period will help the industry to follow up its qualitative and quantitative development plans, said Kazemi.
