“Polish firms have also expressed their readiness to be present in oil industry’s upstream and downstream sectors,” Hossein Esmaeili told Shana on Wednesday.
His comments were made following a meeting here on Tuesday between Deputy Petroleum Minister for International Affairs and Commerce Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia and Poland's Deputy Development Minister Radoslaw Domagalski.
“Warsaw wants to diversify its energy resources, he added, as it is importing 90 percent of its crude oil or 400,000 barrels a day and 60 percent of gas from Russia,” Esmaeili said.
