Director of engineering and construction at National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Hamid Raki, told Shana on the sidelines of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, that the project has added 30,000 barrels to the country’s daily crude oil output.
He said the desalination project was put into a halt because of the US-led sanctions on Tehran’s nuclear program but was completed by local engineers and experts and came to an end on Friday, May 6, 2016.
