Qamsari: Iran’s Oil Contracts with Foreign Parties Are Long-Term in Nature

TEHRAN, May 06 (Shana) – Director of the International Affairs Department at National Iranian Oil Company Mohsen Qamsari says all the oil contracts signed in the post-sanctions era for oil sale are long-term.

Qamsari told a press conference that so far, long-term contracts have been signed with European enterprises such as Total of France, Seb Sa Helenic of Greece and a number of Italian companies to that effect to sell oil.
He said all the consignments carried to Europe are done by non-Iranian oil tankers, which those destined to Turkey are by Iranian tankers.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Qamsari said since start of the year, 12 million liters of gasoline are imported from Asia.
He said Iran’s oil exports have exceeded well beyond two million bpd from one million bpd.
