Talks Under way with Oman over Oil Terminal Construction in Jask

TEHRAN, May 06 (Shana) – Head of the international affairs of the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company met with Omani minister of oil and gas to discuss construction of an oil terminal in Jask.

Mohammad Hassan Akhbari Shad met with the Omani official on the sidelines of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals.
The two officials also held talks on energy cooperation between the two Persian Gulf littoral states.
During the meeting, al-Rumhi indicated the willingness of Omani private sector to join refining and distribution projects in the region.
Construction of an oil terminal in Jask port and refining and distribution of oil products were discussed during the meeting.
The Iran Oil Show will run through May 8 at Tehran’s permanent fairgrounds. Nearly 2,000 exhibiting companies from 38 countries have put their latest oil and gas achievements on public display at the showcase.
