Iran, Algeria Share Similar Stance on Oil Issues

TEHRAN, May 17 (Shana) -- Visiting Algerian Minister of Industry and Mining Abdessalam Bouchouareb said that Iran and Algeria share similar stance on oil issues.

He made the remarks in a meeting with First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri.

Bouchouareb said that the nuclear deal is an opportunity for Iran to revive its constructive role in the region and the world.

Ground is ready for development of all-out ties between Iran and Algeria particularly in fields of economy, trade and energy, he added.

The official said the nuclear deal proved that Algiers stance in support of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program was right.

Algeria is interested to use Iran experience in fields of petrochemicals and dual-fuel vehicles, he added.

Bouchouareb underlined that Iran and Algeria share similar stance on oil issues and the two states should increase cooperation in order to revive their role in the OPEC.

Algeria is committed to side with Iran in all areas including economy and politics, the official said.
