Speaking to Shana, Seyyed Mohsen Qamsari, director of international affairs at National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said the company would seize any possible chance to return to the market.
"Establishing new ties with MOL as one of NIOC's old customers is a special priority [for the company]," the official said.
He said talks are underway with the Hungarian leading international and integrated oil and gas company and Iran will hopefully start loading crude oil cargoes to the European country.
Iran has more than doubled its crude exports to bring it to 2.2 mbd since the removal of US-led sanctions on its oil exports in January 2016.
