The operation began after the platform was loaded on the barge on Saturday.
The loading operation was carried out in the presence of Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Ali Akbar Shabanpour and a number of other energy officials at Khorramshahr Yard.
Construction of the structure is the second platform built by the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOECC) that is being loaded on the barge to be carried to its designated offshore spot together with Platform 19A.
The 2,700-ton item will recover one billion cubic feet of natural gas from phase 21 of the gas field and will take some 5 months for its installation.
