SPGC Produces Up to 33,870 Tons of Sulfur in Q1

TEHRAN, July 16 (Shana) – South Pars Gas Complex's (SPGC) second refinery produced up to 33,870 tons of sulfur in the first three months of this year (started on March 20, 2016).

The official in charge of the Exploitation Unit in the Company's refinery, Mohammad Saeedian, told Shana that in the period under study, 5.228 billion cubic meters of gas were refined in the refinery.

He said in the three months, 33,870 tons of sulfur and more than 6,413,000 barrels of gas condensates were also produced.

He boasted that the refinery's refining capacity has increased up to 60,500,000 cubic meters a day after increase it its sustainable gas production capacity.
