Talking to Shana, Bayat said ethylene pipelines are designed in full safety and each 15 to 20 kms a safety station is installed to cut ethylene flow by blocking the valve automatically in case of any incident.
He noted that now the HSE experts have been dispatched to the site of the incident to soon repair the damaged pipeline and put it on cycle then.
On repair of the damaged pipeline, he said for any region, a station is specified for supply of pipeline in case of likely damage to any pipeline.
The official said the fire was contained fully just an hour ago thanks to efforts of the HSE team of experts and operations to cleanse the region are underway.
