1.4m bpd Oil Extracted from North Yaran Oilfield in 3.5 Years

TEHRAN, July 25 (Shana) – The official in charge of project for development of North Yaran field Ali-Reza Alikhani said on Sunday that over the past three and half years, 1.4 million barrels of oil were extracted from North Yaran field.

Alikhani told reporters than early oil production from North Yaran field started on a limited scale as of February 2013 and it is going on as usual.

He said daily oil production from the field has never exceeded 4,500 bpd. “Based on plans made, oil recovery from the joint field will increase up to 30,000 bpd by September 21.)
