NIDC’s Horizontal Drilling in 1st 4 Months

TEHRAN, July 27 (Shana) – Head of the Special Operations Department of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) Mehran Alipour said on Tuesday that 17,970 meters drilling of oil and gas wells will be in horizontal and pivotal methods in the first four months of this year.

Alipour said  the drilling will be possible using Iranian technicians’ knowledge and potential.

He said the drilling will cover fields run by National Iranian South Oil Company and the National Iranian Offshore Oil Company. 

He concluded that more than 200 professionals are involved in the project.
