Electricity Discrepancy Cause of Bistoon Petchem Co. Fire

TEHRAN, July 29 (Shana) – The cause of fire in Bistoon Petrochemical Company was discrepancy in the energy system inside the storage tank, according to early investigation into the case.

Shana reports fire in a storage tank in Bistoon Petrochemical Company Friday afternoon.

Regional firefighters and relief aid workers from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Kermanshah Petrochemical Company, the Islamic Republic Red Crescent Society and the refinery have rushed to the site of incident, buy extinguishing the fire.
