Public Relations Department at Pars Oil and Gas Company quotes Foruzesh as saying that once the project for operation of the compressor of the LPG storage unit is complete, the LPG product, including propane and butane, yielded by the phases, will be stored in the storage tanks.
He said the first LPG export consignment, presented by phases 15 and 16, will be ready mid September.
Propane and butane are valuable products yielded by the South Pars phases. Completion and preparation of the production and storage units of the product, serve as an important step in line with completion of the value chain of the gas sources of South Pars joint field.
Phases 15 and 16 of South Pars have been developed to produce 50 million cubic meters/day sweet gas, 80,000 bpd gas condensates, 1,05 million tons/year LPG, one million tons/year ethane to meet feedstock of petrochemical units in Asalouyeh and 400 tons/day sulfur.
