Flare Gas Recovery Project Operational

TEHRAN, Sept 23 (Shana) – A project for recovery of flare gas at Tabriz Refinery is operational for the first ever in Iranian oil refining industry.

The project was operational in the Sacred Defense Week.

The project involves recovery of 2,045 kg/hour of flared gas, minimizes burning of wastes and environment pollutants, making it possible to benefit from the CDM and CO trade, while adentifying and managing the capacity of flared gas output.

Tabriz Oil Refining Company has enforced the project in cooperation with the Pields Engineering and Kaiser Land of South Korea and Iranians Petro Sazeh Company.

The project has cost 4.1 million euros through 308,000 man/hour work.

The project started in December 2014 and ended in July 2016. It was put into operational in September.
