No Restrictions to Iranian Shipments in High Seas: Official

TEHRAN, Sept 24 (Shana) – A senior Iranian ports official says since the lifting of international sanctions on Tehran's nuclear program, limits on Iranian vessels and oil tankers have been lifted in high seas and the ships can freely sail in international waters.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 4th International Marine Exhibition in Tehran on Saturday, Managing Director of Iran's Ports and Navigation Organization Mohammad Saeid Nejad said for the time being, shipping lanes are open for the National Iranian Tanker Company's vessels as well as the ships belonging to other Iranian shipping companies to trek.

He said the organization has received several major proposals by leading marine companies for developing projects.
