A new separator is installed on Reshadat oil field's platform and it is predicted that once operations to drill two new wells in the oil field start in the near future, oil production of Reshadat field will increase from 5,000 to 7,000 bpd.
Head of Rashadat Platform Fariborz Edraki said the new separator of Reshadat oil field started operation on the 36th anniversary of establishment of Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).
Edraki said a basic problem with old facilities was the low separation capacity.
